SHIPPING
A confirmation email will be sent once your order is ready to be shipped or once it is ready for pickup at Épicerie Rurale de La Suisse Normande, depending on the option selected at checkout. Please note that order processing may take up to 1 week due to the preparation time required for each order.
Tubers will only be available for shipping when temperatures remain above freezing to prevent them from freezing.

PLANTING NOTES
Planting season: Due to our cold winters, dahlia tubers must be planted in early spring in Quebec. You can dig up your tubers in the fall and reuse them year after year by following our planting guide here.
Planting: Dahlias love heat, so it is very important to place them in a sunny location and avoid overwatering. We recommend referring to the instruction sheet included with your order* or visiting our blog page here.!
DESCRIPTION
Dahlia ‘Breakout’
This Dahlia belongs to the ‘Dinner Plate’ family,
Plant height: 3.5 feet
Production: Very thick stems, less floriferous than other varieties.
Vase life: once harvested, the flower can stay beautiful for up to 5–7 days.
Flower diameter: 8 to 10″
Color: pink with yellow tones in the center
It is recommended to stake it to prevent the stems from breaking in the wind.
The tubers are very productive, making them easy to keep year after year and multiply over time.
Each tuber is sold individually with at least 1 eye.
Plant once the risk of frost has passed. Tubers do not tolerate frost, so they must be stored indoors during winter.
Recommended plant spacing: 12 to 18 inches
